What are the terms of the warranty?

Fractal Audio Systems warrants that new Fractal Audio Systems products shall be free of defects in materials and

What about the Extended Warranty?

Extended Warranty was not offered when I purchased my unit. Can I purchase it now

No, sorry, the extended warranty, is available only at the time of original purchase.

What about purchases made through an official Fractal Distributor or Dealer?

Our warranty is extended only for units purchased directly from Fractal Audio Systems or one of its authorized distributors or resellers as listed at http://www.fractalaudio.com/purchase.php.

I purchased a used unit. Is the warranty transferrable?

The warranty is non-transferrable. It is extended only to the original purchaser.

I don't have a warranty. Can I still get service?

Yes. We are happy to provide support, repair or other services for any of our products, no matter where and when they were purchased. However, there are three important facts to consider:

  1. You will be responsible for the cost of all parts, labor, and shipping in both directions.
  2. We can only return-ship products to an address in the United States or Canada.
  3. We only ship via UPS.

How much will a repair cost for a unit that is not covered by warranty?

Repair costs might range all the way from "no charge" up to the full cost of the unit (typically less than $100.) We cannot estimate the cost for a given repair until a unit can be inspected in our service center.
