Resetting ICONS Settings (Plugin & Standalone)Updated 4 days ago

If you’re experiencing issues with ICONS, you may need to delete the settings file to reset the application to its default state. This is typically done when instructed by Fractal Audio Support, or as a general troubleshooting step when behavior seems incorrect or inconsistent.

⚠️ Important: This will remove saved preferences and settings, but your presets will not be affected.

macOS

  1. Completely quit all instances of ICONS that may be open.
  2. Open Finder, then click the "Go" menu in the menu bar at the top of your screen.
  3. Select the Library folder from the dropdown. If it is not shown, hold the Option key to make it appear.
  4. In the Library folder, navigate to: Application Support > Fractal Audio > Fullerton > {Complete or Vol #} and find the enclosed .settings file. Delete this file.

Windows

  1. Completely quit all instances of ICONS that may be open.
  2. Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog.
  3. Paste the following path into the box and press Enter.

    %APPDATA%\Fractal Audio\ICONS\Fullerton

  4. Windows Explorer will open directly to the required folder. Open the subfolderfor your product {Complete or Vol #}
